According to the Global Competitiveness Index 2018 Jordan ranked first in Electrification Rate, 53rd in Road connectivity index, and 70th in Quality of roads

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati, said in a tweet on Sunday, November 25, 2018, that Jordan has reached the number one position in rate of electrification to the population as a result of the hard work of everyone in the sector, adding that electricity reaches 99% of Jordanians.
