Customs duty payers are urged to visit the Jordan Customs Directorate to benefit from the Cabinet’s decision that exempts them from fines, according to a statement on Monday, November 26, 2018.

The decision indicates that 50% of the fine total will be exempted if fines were paid before the end of December 31, 2018, and 25% if were paid before the end of March 3, 2019.

These exemptions do not include cases submitted to the International Arbitration, or to the State Security Court, or the the Jordanian Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC).
