A Lebanese tour group arrived at the Jaber border crossing through the Syrian Nasib crossing, to visit Jordanian archaeological sites, on Thursday, November 22, 2018.

50 Lebanese tourists were received by the deputy director of the Jaber border, and representatives from the Tourism Promotion Authority and the Tourism Bureau of Irbid, where souvenirs were distributed to them.

The arrival of the tourists at the border coincided with the arrival of the Jordanian Parliamentary delegation from Syria, who in turn welcomed the tourists and wished them a pleasant stay.

As part of a tourism program, the group will visit the Dead Sea, the Baptism Site, Wadi Rum, Petra and Aqaba to experience various aspects of tourism in the Kingdom.

Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Tourism Promotion Authority, said that the return of natural movement at the Jaber-Nasib border crossings will increase tourism from Lebanon, especially that the commission has recently launched an intensive marketing campaign in the Lebanese market.

Arabiyat expressed great pleasure to receive the first tourist group from Lebanon through the border crossing, pointing out our great love for Lebanon and our Lebanese brothers.
