Jordanian Parliamentary delegation headed by Andre Hawari, head of Parliament Tourism Committee, met with the Syrian Minister of Tourism, Besher Yazji, at the Ministry's headquarter in Damascus on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

The meeting discussed several aspects, most notably the facilitation of entry and transport procedures between the two countries, as well as the establishment of joint tourism programs and special offers between the Syrian and Jordanian tourism companies.

The delegation called for Jordanians to be treated equal to Syrians when it comes to hotel accommodation, and asked for preferential prices for Jordanians visiting Syria.
