Jordanian Energy and Mineral Resources Committee met with the Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in Damascus today, November 21, 2018.

The meeting discussed prospects of joint cooperation in the field of energy and gas between Jordan and Syria.

Head of the of the Jordanian parliamentary committee, MP Haitham Zaidan, said that the possibility of investing the Arab Gas Pipeline, which extends to Syria and Lebanon, was discussed during the meeting.

In turn, the Syrian Minister said that joint Jordanian-Syrian committees will be formed during the coming period to study the possibility of implementing the visions presented.
