Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, who travelled to Abu Dhabi to attend the annual Sir Bani Yas Forum which addresses issues related to peace and security in the Middle East and the Gulf, met with Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 during a visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the deep-rooted ties which Jordan and UAE have in several fields and reviewed the latest developments in a number of regional issues of common interest, including the Palestinian issue and the Syrian crisis.
Safadi congratulated His Highness on the continuous success of the Sir Bani Yas Conference, which has become a unique forum for discussing regional issues and ways of working together to maintain security, stability and prosperity.
Safadi also met and held talks with a number of foreign ministers and Arab and international officials during the conference.
