Cameras caught a young Egyptian fan holding a sign with a message to Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, on Friday, November 16, 2018 in a football match against Tunisia, during the Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
The girl’s sign read: “Salah please score. I want to go home, I have homework.”
After the game, Salah tweeted in reply: “I really tried to let you go home early, and sorry to have kept you here until the last minute. I hope your teacher tomorrow understands the situation.”
