An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates restated that the Jordanian Embassy in Washington did not report any injuries in the Jordanian community living in California during the recent fires that broke out in the northern and southern regions of the State.
The Embassy contacted the Honorary Consulate in San Francisco, as well as the President of the Jordanian-American Association in San Francisco and the President of the Jordanian club in Los Angeles, who all confirmed the safety of citizens.
A statement was re-issued to warn citizens on social networking platforms, urging them to contact the Jordanian Embassy in case of any emergency, or in case of needing assistance.
