Ministry: relief services to flood-affected, continue

Relief services to people affected by floods from various regions of the Kingdom, continue to be provided by teams from the Ministry of Social Development, in cooperation with the main operating rooms and administrative authorities, since the announcement of the expected weather conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, the Ministry said in a press release on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

55 families (255 people) from Wadi Al Wala, and Malih districts in Madaba governorate, were evacuated to Malih School, and received aid and food was distributed.

33 Syrian citizens were evacuated from Al-Jizah district, and transported to Umm ar-Rasas School, aid was distributed.

In Ma'an governorate, aid was provided to 320 people who were evacuated from Rashid, Beir al Baytar, Iell sub-district, Mraigha, Jafar, Udhruh, and Al Mensheyah.

In North Shuna, 20 families were evacuated and given aid, and given mattresses, blankets, and food.

In Marka, 11 families (42 people), were evacuated, in addition to one family in Kufranjah, Ajloun.
