Miyahuna temporarily halts pumping water to Amman, Zarqa and Madaba

The Water Authority of Jordan's (WAJ) company Miyahuna has temporarily stopped pumping water from water wells and Al Wala Dam in Ma’in as a precautionary measure, due to high turbidity in the water, which was caused by the flash floods that swept south Jordan on Friday.

Miyahuna said in a statement on Saturday, November 10, that halting water-pumping will affect the distribution of water in Amman, Zarqa and Madaba, adding that their services will go back to normal once the water has been purified again.
