In a collision of three trailers and a bus, forty people were injured in an accident that took place on the southern Desert Highway earlier today, November 3, 2018.

According to the Civil Defence Department (CDD), rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the site in Daba’a, where they provided first aid to those injured and transferred those in need for further medical assistance to a nearby hospital.

While the majority of the injuries are mild, there are three injuries which can be described as serious, CDD added.
