Minister of Education and of Higher Education, Azmi Mahafza, has resigned from his position on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

This comes after Tourism Minister, Lina Annab, resigned just a short while ago.

These resignations come from parliamentary demands concerning the horrific Dead Sea Tragedy, which killed 21, most of them school children, and injured many more, last Thursday.
