News circulated, in some newspapers, on Monday, October 15, 2018, about Gazan educational institutions forcing a decision which forbids female students, in schools and universities in the Gaza Strip, of wearing makeup on campus, starting the next day, Tuesday.

Moreover, it was said that warnings will be sent to the parents of female students who will come to class wearing makeup - something that also turned out to be untrue.

Educational institutions in Gaza denied the rumors, asserting that they did not issue such a rule. They also urged the media not to deal with rumors and asked users of social networks not to spread fake news.
