Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced the maintenance and paving of three major streets in the capital of Amman. Work is to be executed on both Friday and Saturday, October 19-20, 2018.

The work will require partial closures of the streets and will cover the following:

Istiqlal Street (Istiklal Mall towards Al Qusour Intersection).
Bayader’s Abu Al Soos Street (Al-Sena’a area towards Civil Defense roundabout).
8th Circle’s Husni Soubar Street (Bayader traffic light down towards Wadi Al-Seer downtown).

On Friday morning, GAM published a video thanking its cadres for their dedicated work in the area of Istiqlal Street. The video was captioned "A weekend for some is a workday for others. GAM workers are busy maintaining the Istiqlal street. Thank you for your efforts."

GAM announced that drivers should be careful when travelling through the streets mentioned above as the traffic will be affected and is expected to be slow.
