A security source on Thursday, October 18, 2018, said that travellers to Syria through the Jaber-Nasib crossing must be present at the border before 3:00 pm, in order for departure procedures to be completed.

The source added that the border on the Syrian side closes at 4 pm, and entry will not be allowed after that.

The source called on travellers to abide by the time set by the Syrian side, to allow their entry.
