According to the Jordanian Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Transport released the first-day-statistics of departures and arrivals through the Jaber-Nasib Crossing, which was re-opened ealier today, October 15, 2018, after being closed for around three years.
The number of people crossing from Jordan to Syria marked a total of 200 departures, 162 of which were Jordanian citizens, 37 Syrian citizens and one of another nationality. While number of arrivals from Syria to Jordan included 32 Jordanian citizens and 16 Syrian citizens.
The Jordanian-Syrian joint committees have set the border's working hours to be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in both countries.
