Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation met with an official governmental delegation from Australia to discuss cooperation and coordination between the two countries regarding programs related to efficient water distribution and use as well as the implementation of various other projects that are associated with “drought” management initiatives Jordan Valley and areas around it.

Chaired by Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation, Raed Abu Soud, and Australian Ambassador to Jordan, Miles Armitage, the meeting discussed ways of executing technical and scientific expertise of Australia in these projects which are expected to help Jordan overcome the challenges and deficits of its water resources.
