The Jordanian Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) arrested a man on Friday, October 5, 2018, who stole a woman’s wallet in a mall supermarket, in the capital Amman, Jordan.

An official source stated, that a report was filed on Thursday claiming that a lady’s wallet has been stolen in a supermarket in one of the capital’s malls. The wallet had her IDs and an amount of JD 140 inside.

In the meantime, people were sharing the footage taken by the supermarket's security camera showing a man stealing a wallet from inside a purse of a woman’s shopping cart.

According to the source, the CIU investigated the video and identified the man. Accordingly, authorities located the man and arrested him in his residence, where he confessed to the crime.
