The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has announced the official opening of the Sahafa (Press) Tunnel, marking the completion of the fourth phase of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, on Tuesday morning, October 2, 2018.

It took about a year to build the bridge over the Press Tunnel, which is a major requirement for the BRT route.

The bridge will run from Sweileh to the Sports City intersection and will take two directions; the first to the Fifth Circle, while the second will connect the city of Amman to the Zarqa Governorate, as part of the fifth phase of the BRT project.
