The grieving parents of a 40-year-old woman, who died before arriving at the Jerash Government Hospital, smashed and destroyed parts of the hospital’s Emergency Room (ER) on Friday evening, in retaliation of their daughter’s death, a security source has said.

The same source told Roya that “the woman had died from natural causes and was gone before arriving to the hospital, but her devastated parents smashed up parts of the ER anyway.”

Hospital security quickly got the situation under control and detained the mother and father of the deceased, the source added, while stressing that a gas bomb was not used inside or outside of the hospital as rumored.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.

Sadly, there have been many incidents where doctors all over the world got attacked by angry patients, who were in shock and unable to cope with the loss of their loved one at that moment.

In Jordan, many infuriated family members have thrown punches at innocent doctors after losing their patients, with the former blaming the latter for their death, despite proving that their death was out of the doctors’ hands.
