A new survey by Numbeo revealed the world's safest and most dangerous cities for 2018.
According to the list, the capital Amman ranked in the 183th place, in terms of spread of crime.
According to statistics published by the American website, the crime rate in Amman is 41.99%, while the safety index is 58.01%.
The list also revealed Abu Dhabi as the safest city in the world, with 13.63% crime index and 86.37% safety index.
Following Abu Dhabi in safety is another Arab Gulf city, Doha with a 14.48% safety rate, followed by the city of Basel in Switzerland at 16.01%, Canada’s Quebec at 16.43%, Osaka Japan at 16.77% and Tokyo at 16.86%.
The city of San Pedro Sula in Honduras was ranked the world's most dangerous city with a staggering crime rate of 85.18%.
