Cabinet members left the meeting which was set to discuss the draft of the new Income Tax Bill (ITB), in Ajloun on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, as citizens’ fury against the Bill did not allow the ministers to start the discussion.

The Cabinet’s visit to Ajloun concludes the tour to visit the Kingdom’s governorates, which began last week on the September 13, in compliance with the government’s Letter of Designation, to engage citizens in positive discussion about the ITB.

Out of twelve governorates visited, five ended abruptly as ministers left the halls due to chaos in the governorates of Tafileh, Ma’an, Mafraq, Jerash, Zarqa and Ajloun.
