Queen Rania launches QRF Award for Education Entrepreneurship

The Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development (QRF) announced the opening call for this year’s Education Entrepreneurship Award, earlier today on September 11, 2018.

The competition, which is open to all education entrepreneurs from the Arab World until November 10, 2018, honors excelling and sustainable businesses which have made a positive impact in society.

Founded five years ago by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, QRF aims to boost the potential of educational institutions –specifically schools– in the region. A grand total of $200,000 will be awarded to the three different winning startups in order to allow the winders to push their career forward.

Her Majesty announced through the opening call for submissions through the official Facebook account; “Our ambition for region-wide education reform is boundless! I encourage entrepreneurs who are passionate about reforming education in the Arab world to participate in the Queen Rania Award for Education Entrepreneurship.”

Eligiblity requirements and submission process can be accessed through the QRF online application here.
