We have good news for you: this Tuesday, yes, THIS Tuesday coming up is a public holiday.

Prime Minister Omar Razzaz announced on Saturday that governmental institutions (and some private sector companies) will be taking the day off on September 11, 2018, to celebrate the Islamic New Year.

The new Hijri year will mark the first day of Muharram, 1440, which many Muslims across the world will celebrate by spending time with their families and attending especially-organised musical and cultural events.
