Security Forces arrested three men on Saturday night, September 1, 2018, who fired shots at one of Amman’s hotels last week, a security source said, without disclosing the hotel's name.

The source said that the incident was reported to the Central Amman Police Directorate (CAPD) several days ago. The initial report stated that a number of unidentified persons shot at a hotel in central Amman without harming anyone. However, the hotel was damaged in the process.

An investigative team from CAPD, the Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) and the Public Security Directorate (PSD) handled the case. After catching the culprits and seizing the weapons in their possession, the criminals confessed to their crime, which they said they committed due to a disagreement with one of the hotel’s employees.

The investigation is still underway.
