Earlier today, Israeli Forces launched a wide arrest-campaign in different cities of the West Bank, a Palestinian official source reported on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

According to MAAN News, forces of the Israeli Occupation Army raided several houses in Al-Ain area, Beit Za'tah and Al-Haret in Beit-Amr. In southern Hebron, three males were re-arrested (as they were just recently released); Mohammed Abu Hashem, Hamza Abu Maria and Waseem Abu Maria.

Four Palestinians of Issawiya town, Jerusalem were also arrested: Tareq Mustafa, Adam Mahmud, Mahmoud Abu Hummus and Mahmoud Abu Sneineh.

Israeli Army claimed that the raids were conducted in search for weaponry and firearms, as a homemade bomb was thrown at an Army Outpost near Al-Bireh earlier yesterday. In its statement, the Army announced that searches have exposed hidden weapons in the suspects' homes in Anata town, Jerusalem. Five M16 rifles have also been found and seized, the statement added.
