His Majesty King Abdullah II met with a number of local chief editors and publishers of news websites at Basman Palace in Amman on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Discussion focused on the current local and regional issues, as well as the importance of maintining professionalism and responsiblity in reporting news. The meeting was attended by the Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty, Manar Dabbas.

This comes as part of His Majesty's open discussion with media personnel in the Kingdom. On Thursday, the King met with a number of media figures and journalists at Al-Husseiniya Palace where they discussed local issues, as well as regional and international developments.
