Today, the highly-anticipated official launch of the “Roya Academy for Media Training” will take place at the academy’s state-of-the-art premises in Mecca Street, Amman, at 6 pm (local time).
The opening ceremony will be attended by Roya TV’s General Manager, Fares Sayegh, the station’s TV presenters and various local, regional and international media personnel who are eager to welcome and celebrate a giant leap in the development of the media sector in Jordan and the Arab World.
About the Academy
Founded by Roya TV and accredited by the International Academy of Arts, Media, and Creativity (IAAMC), the academy was established in 2018 to keep up with the demand for skilled and qualified professionals in the media industry - something that is hugely sought out in the Jordanian market.
"Roya Academy for Media Training" is first-of-its-kind in the Kingdom and the region, aiming to build and develop the skills needed to pursue a career in media, Journalism, and TV industries.
Who is the Academy for?
Through a clear strategy and vision, Roya Academy for Media Training seeks to support and develop artists, media professionals, audio and video professionals, TV presenters, producers, and advertising and marketing professionals by providing the latest in the world by blending media and art with science.
A set number of courses is available just as the Academy launches, however, a variety of new courses will be added in the near future.
Roya Academy for Media Training is facilitated by top practitioners in the field drawn from many disciplines. Our courses and studies include a high profile media and creative artist program examining the latest trends in digital media production as well as providing a critical/historical context for understanding current digital art and expanded media design practices. The beauty of Arts and Media is that it retains the power of transforming society; they play an essential role in ensuring and enhancing the quality of life.
The training academy will also provide a hands-on experience through Roya TV studios, where students will be exposed to a variety of shows and equipments. Internships and subsequent employment opportunities would also be in the cards for prospective trainees.
Once you have completed a course with the Roya Academy for Media Training, you will receive a certificate issued by the International Academy of Arts. Some of the certificates include a “Certificate of Skills,” a “Certificate of Training” and a “Diploma Certificate.”
The certificates can be authenticated by several governmental agencies in the US, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the US Department of Justice and Notary Public.
