King Abdullah meets potential business investors at Sun Valley economic forum

His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, attended the tw-day Sun Valley economic forum in Idaho, on Wednesday, during their visit to the US.

The forum, which was attended by various business influencers, senior politicians and media representatives from all around the world, tackled a wide array of current economic issues.

A panel discussion during the forum addressed the regional conditions in the Middle East, touching on challenges faced by Jordan and made suggestions for effective solutions. The panel was conducted by former US Deputy Secretary of State and President of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, William Burns.

His Majesty met with multiple chairpersons and CEOs of well-established ventures like Uber, Magic Leap, IAC, Twitter, PayPal, Walmart, seed accelerator Y Combinator, and Nike.

Discussions focused on attracting global companies to the Kingdom in order to generate job opportunities. His Majesty highlighted the key advantages and opportunities that the country provides to existing as well as potential investors in its growing market.
