An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit northern Jordan in the early morning of Saturday at 5:08 a.m.
According to head of the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO), Mahmoud Al Qaryouti, the magnitude of the earthquake was mostly felt in Irbid as it originated in Lake Tiberias and its neighboring areas.
Last week, a total of 13 earthquakes were recorded in the span of 48 hours, however, no damages or loss of lives were reported.
