One person was killed and 25 others were injured on Sunday in four different car accidents across the country.

The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said that ambulances transferred the nine people who were injured in Amman to Al-Bashir Hospital, adding that their health condition is moderate.

In Irbid, five people were injured after their car deteriorated near Al Naeemah Bridge. They are currently being treated at the Princess Basma Hospital.

In Karak, three people were injured in a car crash in Al-Abyad area. They were transferred to a medical centre after being administered first aid.

The fourth accident took place in the northern city of Ajloun, leaving one passenger dead and eight moderately injured.

Drivers are advised to take caution when driving, especially during the month of Ramadan.

If you feel drowsy while on the road, park your car to the side and do not continue driving until you’re feeling 100% better.
