One day after western winds brought a massive sandstorm to Jordan, thunder showers have graced the kingdom’s skies on Monday.

The temperature has remained high, ranging between 35 degrees in the south and 30 in the north, contributing to humidity levels ranging from 40 to over 60 percent during the day, according to Arabia Weather.

Thunder showers are forecast to affect all Jordanian governorates with differing degree of intensity on Monday and scattered showers are also to be expected on Tuesday.

The central and northern governorates of Zarqa and Irbid have experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by hailstones in some areas and the capital of Amman is also awaiting rain.
