Israel's Minister of Communications, Ayoub Kara, praised Bahrain's support for the Israeli attacks on what they said were Iranian targets in Syria, describing it as a “historic support.”

Kara wrote on his official Twitter account: “The response of the Bahraini Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled Bin Ahmed Al-Khalifeh stating that every country has the right to defend itself is a historic support for us fighting against the Iranian enemy.”

Al-Khalifeh said on Thursday that "it is the right of any country in the region, including Israel to defend itself by destroying sources of danger."

The Israeli-controlled Syrian Golan Heights was targeted by rockets early Thursday; Spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces, Avichay Adraee, accused Iran of carrying out the attacks, saying that “20 Iranian rockets were monitored” by Israel, while describing the incident as a “dangerous Iranian attack.”
