Thundershowers and cloudy weather conditions are in the forecast for several parts of Jordan on Friday, following the non-stop heavy rain which fell over many parts of the Kingdom on Thursday.
Expect your skies to be lit up by lightning and your streets to be washed by rain tonight, especially if you’re living in the northern and central regions of Jordan.
Temperatures today are expected to hover around 16 degrees Celsius, before dropping at night to 11 degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, temperatures are set to rise slightly, reaching a high of 24 degrees Celsius, and dropping to 16 degrees Celsius at night.
Several cities and areas were flooded in Jordan by Thursday night, due to the heavy rainfall.
The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) had warned Jordan’s residents against driving in such weather conditions and said that it had five large water-suction motors ready for use on tunnels and bridges should the floods get worse.
