It has been confirmed that none of the 105 passengers onboard the Algerian military plane have survived, which crashed over the Boufarik military airport on Wednesday morning, Al Arabiya reported.

According to local sources, more than 200 people have died as a result of the crash, while many of those who were injured have been taken to hospital.

The reason behind the crash remains unclear until this moment, a local security source has said.

Seventy-seven people were killed in a similar crash in Algeria four years ago.
