The Hamas security services stated on Wednesday that it arrested a Palestinian man accused to be spying for Israeli intelligence during a Maneuver warfare last Sunday.

“H.D, 37”, a taxi driver was arrested monitoring and watching Palestinian fighters.

Al-Majd website affiliated to Hamas security services reported that during the initial investigation with the man he admitted that an Israeli officer recruited him to monitor and watch Hamas militants and provide the Israelis with their updates

The man was also assigned to watch and monitor the Great Return March scheduled on Friday marking Palestinian Land Day, and spread rumors about it during his work in the taxi in order to make people anxious about participating.

H.D started working as a spy in 2011, since then, he reported to the Israeli intelligence the activities of Hamas and its activities and its weapons.

Hamas has executed earlier in April three men, claiming they were the spies that participated in the assassination of senior Hamas fighter Mazen Fuqaha.
