Relatively cold weather, with a chance of rainfall, will take over the kingdom in the period Wednesday to Friday, according to Jordan Meteorological Department.

Starting Wednesday afternoon, Jordan will be under clouds of dust which will lead to low visibility in many areas.

In Amman, daytime temperatures are expected to reach highs of 29 °C and lows of 14-15 °C.

Meanwhile in Aqaba temperature highs are expected to reach 35°C during the day and lows of 20 °C at night.

On Thursday however, temperatures will drop but the low visibility will still remain.

On Friday, temperatures will drop with possibility of showers in the northern and central regions of the kingdom.

The current weather conditions are caused by the khamsin depression which is caused by wind blowing from the west through the Western Desert causing stirs of dust.
