The Cabinet announced on Sunday that the kingdom will switch to daylight saving time on March 29.

Clocks are to be set 60 minutes forward on Thursday midnight, making Jordan three hours ahead of GMT.

The Kingdom first observed daylight saving time in 1973, making this year the 39th to follow the tradition.
Since a Cabinet decision in 2013, Jordan has switched to summertime on the last Thursday of March, and returned to wintertime on the last Friday of October.
