Jordanian engineer Shadi Al-Zoubi will compete in the 9th annual Hult Prize Regional Final in Tunisia.

The recent graduate and co-founder of the Jordanian Inventors Association is sponsored (travel and accommodation costs) by Sayegh Group and will present his alma mater Balqa' Applied University.

The Prize welcomes students from all over the world to showcase their talents, compete, and bring back the experience to their home country.

This year’s edition challenges students to create innovative businesses to harness the power of energy to transform the lives of 10 million people.

If Zoubi advances to the Global Finals, he will be competing for $1 million in funding.

The engineer is not a novice in such competitions as one of his inventions was awarded first place at the “Falling Walls Lab Amman” in 2017.
