A child in Saudi Arabia was filmed driving a Lexus at more than 200 km/h. This is something you might expect to see in a movie, but certainly not in real life.

The video, posted on Monday, sparked public outrage after going viral on social media.

Social media users were infuriated by the irresponsibility of the child’s parents and called for the arrest the person who allowed the child to go behind the wheel.

In the video, the young boy is seen sitting as close as he could to the steering wheel, holding tightly onto it, while a person sitting in the front passenger seat filmed him in action.

To make matters worse, the young driver was not even wearing a seat belt.

Underage driving has become somewhat of a phenomenon in Saudi Arabia. In 2016, numerous children under the age of 10 were spotted driving a car.

Underage driving puts children’s lives at great risk. If you see a child behind the wheel in Saudi Arabia (or any country), you must immediately report them to the traffic police.
