A 14-year-old student shot his schoolmate by accident in Amman on Sunday afternoon.

A security source told Roya that the boys were standing at their school gate when one of them accidentally shot the other.

The same source added that the injured student is currently being treated in hospital and that his health is in moderate condition.

The source did not specify how the gun came into the ninth grader’s possession, but said that he was currently being interrogated by police at the station.
