Government responds to less than 54% of questions asked by Lower House

According to the semi-monthly report released on Tuesday by the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives the government has answered 107 out of the 200 questions asked by members of the lower house of parliament since the beginning of the second ordinary session which took place between Nov.12, 2016 and Feb.28, 2018.

According to the report, seven interrogations were also submitted by MPs where 3 of them were answered. Furthermore, four law proposals were submitted.

During the period of the ordinary session 20 bills were approved and one draft law was proposed. The 34 sessions are comprised of 27 legislative sessions, and 7 oversight sessions.

The report detailed the 330 meetings held among different parliamentary committees under the following:
