With an 80.67% punctuality rate, Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) came in second place as the most punctual Arab airline in 2017.

RJ was closely followed by Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, and by Dubai’s Emirates Airline.

The results were published in a report by British air travel intelligence company OAG, which revealed that Qatar Airways came in first place regionally, and in tenth place internationally, as nearly 83% of its flights arrived and departed on its pre-scheduled time.

Also this year, RJ was ranked as number 15 among the top 20 safest airlines in the world by AirlineRatings.com.

Based in Queen Alia International Airport, Royal Jordanian operates more than 500 flights a week, with about 100 daily departures.
