A 17-year-old Palestinian boy died on Wednesday where he was taken to be treated after the Israeli military forces shot him in the head.

Musab Firas Tamimi from the village of Deir Nitham, northwest of Ramallah, died at Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, according to the Ministry of Health.

Tamimi was rushed to hospital by Red Crescent ambulances and was admitted to the operating room for surgery but was later pronounced dead, Wafa News reported.

Also on Wednesday, Israeli forces detained at least 20 Palestinians, by multiple pre-dawn raids across the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are holding demonstrations for the fourth week in a row to protest Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
