The Islamic Hamas movement has called upon the Palestinian people with all its factions to demonstrate on Friday against Donald Trump’s latest decision to recognize Jerusalem as an Israeli capital.

The Islamic movement called upon people to go from all areas and cities to directly confront the Israeli army and settlers.

Since Trump announced his intention to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem earlier this month, demonstrations were held nonstop in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

Earlier on Thursday, the United Nations general assembly has voted by majority to reject Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as an Israeli capital. 128 members voted in favor of the resolution, 9 voted against it, while 21 delegation were absent from the vote, suggesting that Trump’s warning to cut funds might had effect on their vote.
