Jordan's King Abdullah has returned home on Wednesday after presiding over the Jordanian delegation at the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul.

The king delivered Jordan's speech to the OIC summit, which dealt with the U.S. decision over Jerusalem.

On Tuesday, His Majesty the King, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, held talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.

Also in Riyadh, His Majesty met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also deputy prime minister and minister of defense.

The trip comes following Trump's announcement last week recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and announcing plans to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the city, provoking outrage across the Arab region.
