Thousands of Egyptians took part in demonstrations against the American President Donald Trump's latest decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, and to move the American embassy to Jerusalem, according to Anadolu Turkish News Agency.

The biggest demonstration started from Al-Azhar mosque after the Friday prayer, as demonstrators chanted “Jerusalem is Arabic,” and called for supporting Palestine.

Hundreds of Egyptians also demonstrated at Leader Ibrahim Mosque.

Demonstrations started earlier yesterday, with the largest taking place at the American University of Cairo (AUC).
