The Greater Municipality of Amman plans to complete infrastructure and drainage works on Friday and Saturday, as well as disassembling a pedestrian bridge in Queen Rania St.

Roads will face closures in different areas across Amman, with detours available for cars, according to Mohammad Faouri, a municipality official.

Different maintenance work is to be done in the area of Khalda, on Al-madina and Al-munawara street and towards the Kilo roundabout.

The municipality is asking citizens to keep an eye on the detours and signs in the streets.

Last week saw several other road closures in Amman and Madaba.

Maintenance work is usually done as winter approaches, to make sure citizens remain safe during the harsh season.
