Israeli forces detained nine Palestinians in multiple overnight raids across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, according to the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Two Palestinians after Israeli forces stormed their family homes in the southern West Bank city of Hebron. They also detained a 10-year-old Palestinian child after stopping him at Abu al-Rish military checkpoint near Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque.

A similar raid took place in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, where Israeli forces detained a 17-year-old minor after ransacking his family home.

PPS said another Palestinian was detained during a raid into Bethlehem district.

It added forces detained another during a predawn raid into Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, while another one was detained from Tulkarm district in the northern West Bank. Two more Palestinians were detained after forces also raided al-Yamun and Qabatiya towns, west and south of Jenin.

During the month of October, 6,198 Palestinians were detained by Israel, according to prisoners’ rights group Addameer. It reported that 280 of these were children.
