Al Zarqa Governmental Hospital has begun implementing a new security plan, which aims at easing road traffic in its vicinity, as well as a number of other safety measures, according to Mahmoud Zureiqat, Head of Al Zarqa Governmental Hospital.

The plan is to make cars enter the hospital’s emergency building through one gate, without being able to exit through the same gate, Zureiqat said.

In addition, cars will not be allowed to park on the side of the road, nor on any of the main corridors, which, in turn, will give ambulances and fire trucks an easy access to the emergency building.

Zureiqat concluded that the hospital will be changing its visiting hours, while children under the age of eight will not be allowed to visit in-patients.

In addition, visitors will be required to enter the hospital from a different entrance, so that they are not doing it through the emergency building’s main door.
